HÀ NỘI — Orange groves in Quảng Ninh Province’s Vạn Yên Commune have become a tourist attraction in recent years.

At first, there were only a few households growing orange trees in the commune’s 10/10 Village. But as tourist demand rose, other families followed.

Each household now has at least two orange groves to welcome tourists. The amount of land used to grow oranges in the commune has reached 200 hectares.

Tourists often visit the gardens at weekends or during holidays to take photos or pick oranges.

This has quickly become a new type of eco-tourism. Other services such as rest areas and outdoor picnics are also offered. VNS
