Miss Vietnam H’Hen Nie will be the image representative for the art show The Eternal Flow, which will be held under the framework of a world expo in Al Wasl Plaza in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, on December 30.

H’Hen Nie is the first contestant from Vietnam to make it to the top 5 of the Miss Universe competition in early 2018. She is also the first Miss Vietnam from an ethnic minority.

The Eternal Flow will be jointly organized in Dubai by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Vietnam, the International Cooperation Department under the Ministry of Education and Training, the Dak Nong People’s Committee, and Tam and Cam Media Advertising Company Limited.

The show is aimed at promoting Vietnamese culture and tourism at the EXPO 2020, introducing various aspects of traditional values to international audiences.

The event is taking place in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates from October 1 to March 31, 2022 and is expected to attract more than 25 million visitors, according to Expo 2020’s official website.

The keynote section of The Eternal Flow is a fashion show featuring brocade collections designed by famous Vietnamese designers, including Diego, Vu Viet Han, and Ly Qui Khanh.

The designers have managed to bring a new life into ethnic costumes using handmade brocade as the main material.

Thanks to their creative talent, the innovative designs of costumes stand for a harmonious combination of traditional and modern values.

My Dung, general director of Tam and Cam Media Advertising Company Limited, said they chose brocade because Vietnam has 35 ethnic groups that traditionally use it, so they wanted to make it the star of the display in Dubai.

The Eternal Flow art show will take place on December 30 at Al Wasl Plaza with the participation of several beauty queens, runners-up, and many models, including around 60 international models.

In addition, the show will feature more than 100 artists, artisans, performers from the Vietnamese National Song and Dance Ensemble, the Vietnam Circus Federation, the Central Highlands Bronze Gong Ensemble, and the Bac Ninh folk song society.
